About Musimagery

"Musimagery" is a term my friend Margaret coined,  which describes a style of music which inspires imagery within the listeners mind. "Musimagery" is a completely different style from Mainstream Jazz. It is more closely related to New Age music but because it inspires imagery and moods to the listener, it is not always restricted to a "commercial type song of exactly 3 minutes in length with a good beat to dance to". "Musimagery" style music applies itself more to the performance or theatrical arts, more to the senses of the listener. A chance for the listener to close their eyes and forget their surroundings - some pieces being meditational and others quite upbeat.

"Musimagery" has taken the form of recorded music for the listener to hear in their own home, but we have also taken "Musimagery" to the Fine Arts stage and combined it with literal MIDI driven projected visuals performed by hi-tech artist Jay D. James Pennington.

The recordings of "Glass Mirage" were duets with myself and David Underwood.

"Musimagery" has also participated in Contempory Gallery openings and Contemporary Experimental theatrical stages. Contact us at:
